I wanted to know how to make a countdown timer to November 8th, 2011. I didn't know how to do it, but I have a feeling it has something to do with a system clock. Could anybody assist me with my dilemma. Thank you so much if you decide to help, I would greatly appreciate it!

You could do the math on the milliseconds and use a timer.peformWithDelay.

Edit - Actually thats probably wrong, you're going to have to use the os.time() function, and mark the time, then do out the math on the countdown and show how much time is left.
