turnToScenes() bugged, any workaround?

Hey,

I'm trying to get back to the main application (scene based) from my books-section.

As far as I understood I need to do the following:
director:turnToScenes()
director:changeScene ( "mainScreen" )

Unfortunately everything hangs on director:turnToScenes()

Is there any workaround or am I doing something wrong?
