Ive downloaded a few cool fonts for my game, and they worked just fine. But then i updated my mac to OSX lion and now the fonts are just passive. The app has no runtime-errors but just doesnt use the fonts.

Maybe you need to look into how to include/embed custom font(s) to your project. Also, keep in mind, you cannot just include/embed any font(s) you want. You'd need fonts that you have the full right to distribute (i.e., you'd want to get the license free, royalty free fonts.)
If not, you're stuck with whatever the system/device lets you use.

Thanks for the reply. Before when using custom fonts Corona said "This app is trying to acces a file downloaded from the internet. Will you let it?" when running it the first time, and then it just worked.
Now it does not even ask.
