Hi all,

I'm new to Corona and so far love it. I started playing around with it 2 days ago and have made a basic little game, just mainly so I could get the hang of everything. Not intending to put it on any app stores or anything however.

I was wondering if people recommend getting Lime. I am wanting to do side-scrolling tile based games. I assume Lime would be ideal for this, however was concerned I may be throwing myself in too deep if I were to go ahead and buy it immediately.

What would you recommend?

yes, its useful, even just to look at how others code gets you going quickly the samples maybe just what you need to get a head start. how much time would that £20 save you.
