Submitting Universal Apps

Okay, I hope to have my second app completed within the next 2-3 days. It is a "universal app." The question I have is about the submission process. Is it possible to submit the app just once and have it appear in the both the iPad and iPhone section of the app store? Or do I have to submit the app twice and wait on two approval processes?
