If possible can you add LuaSQL to the SDK? I have an app I want to make that requires database connectivity and running a web server with php to act as a database service is too much overhead for just pulling small amounts of data over the wire.

Corona includes support for SQLite databases on all platforms. This is based on the built-in sqlite support on the iPhone, and a compiled version of SQLite on Android. Note that this increases the size of the Android binary by 300K.
