It's posible to use real time image processing or access the video buffer in real time using Corona Sdk?

I`m looking for a way to access bitmap data, blur and manipulate it as well (basically flash`s bitmapData commands).

It`d be really cool to have access via corona in the future.

im also a flash dev turns to corona but feels limited when doing any bitmap manipulation
