media.show on iPad

I am using this to allow users to select a photo to frame:

media.show(media.PhotoLibrary, openFrame)

It works, but the way the selector is displayed on iPad violates Apple's UI guidelines and got our app rejected. There is a little arrow coming out of the top of the popover that points up to the corner of the screen. The popover is initiated from clicking one of six buttons on the lower half of the screen. Apple seems to require that the little arrow points to the button that the user taps. Is there any way to make this happen?

Here are the specific comments from the reviewer:

We found that your app does not comply with the Apple iOS Human Interface Guidelines, as required by the App Store Review Guidelines.

Specifically, we noticed that your app contained popover elements that didn't point to the element that revealed them. To avoid user confusion, a popover element's arrow should point to the element that revealed it.

An attached screenshot showed the photo selector as described above.
