The 48 Hour Challenge - The AfterMath

I didn't place but I had a blast as did everyone who entered I think.

Big Congrats to Mike Lorenz, Radamanthus Batnag and Herman Wapenaar. Truly awesome games created with Corona in 48 Hours.

And a big thanks to Peach Pellen, the judges and ofcourse Ansca.

It's going to be (or is already) a big year for Ansca and the CoronaSDK. This place and its members are just awesome :D

Thanks for posting this news, wish I could have been involved, oh well.

@jhocking - the next one.

I learned a lot and it was a blast. After being awake for several hours I found that delirium sets in and the funniest conversations start to happen.

I also liked the fact that we can team up to do the challenge. That was a big plus. It's a good way to get to know people too.

Nice post, James. Thanks for doing it with me, had a blast!

Missed this thread until now, but thoroughly enjoyed reading your blog post. (I'm considering sending it to my mother who, although she understands the basic concept of making apps, was not able to entirely grasp what the 48 Hour Challenge was, I don't think.)

Thanks for the thanks as well and I'm glad you had fun; I hope that this will become an annual thing.

In the meantime, I am still trying to come up with other ways to help bring the community together, so if anyone has any hit me up via email. (My name at gmail.com)

Lastly, I really loved getting to know others through the challenge too. People I'd never spoken to I've gotten somewhat acquainted with, while I now feel a whole lot closer to the other judges as well. It has been a very positive experience all around, I think.

Peach :)
