I have a number of apps currently in the store written with Titanium Appcelerator. They display simple lists with the person being able to save items for later. This is all done with sql lite.

If I release an update to this app written in Corona will I be able to access this existing sqllite database?

do u mean u want to access the database of titanium

u need to create new database better if u put ur ti db in corona although if user upgrade ur app from ti to corona they will lose data they had saved

Is there any way to share data? What if I was to write the data to the file system? Is there anywhere that will not be destroyed when they upgrade?

if you had developed ur app with ti then corona app should not access its data as it is different app
