I have my app running smoothly on my G2 with no problems. I had been receiving complaints from a tester with an Evo 4G saying that the game crawls during play, and finally got my hands on an Evo 4G to see what was going on. The app runs like butter, but as soon as the physics starts, the game crawls as if the physics scale is being shot through the roof. It took a box about 4 seconds to fall some 60 pixels. I monitored it with the android's logcat and found no errors.

Any ideas as to why the Evo 4G is so slow with physics? I feel like my G2 is a Ford Focus while the Evo is a Ferrari(exaggerated of course), so this physics performance is baffling me.
