Only one binary (iPhone+iPad universal) needed when uploading to iTunes account?

I'd like to know if only one provisioning profile, iPhone distribution code, and binary are necessary for the iPhone and Ipad version to upload my app to the store...

Also, it seems like the provisioning profile and iPhone distribution code are the same for the AD HOC and FINAL version for the app store? Please someone confirm.
