Hi,
I was wondering if it that would be reasonable to ask for a Work in Progress Forum?
The benefits would be :
-
Generate interest for an upcoming app
- Exchange advices
- Get to know developers more - currently forum members don't have profiles so it's a bit hard to discover each other's works
That would be the perfect companion to the "Have an app created with Corona? Let us know here." forum.
I don't see any reasons why it wouldn't benefit the community, but if there are some informations that I am not aware of please tell me.
:)
Hi,
as this thread as been moved to a different forum, I guess that someone from Ansca at least *read* it quickly :)
I think that showing progress on an app is a great way to build anticipation.
Why is showing a work in progress important?
- it helps to anticipate customers needs
- support marketing efforts
- build a customer base
Benefits
- It helps to get people's attention
- focus marketing efforts on the right target
- it brings more sales, because people are more likely to buy an app that they have heard before it's released
- Success for an app means even more visibility for Ansca
To Ansca
- What do you think about this?
- Are there any plans to provide a "Work in Progress" forum anytime soon?
Thank you!
Hello MrMells :)
I read it and I moved it to Feature Requests from Off Topic.
I have added it to the pile of requests we have and will bring it up in our next meeting. (I will also present your points as to why it is a good idea.)
Peach :)
Thank you for your attention.
I will rely on you for bringing my points to the table ;)
On a side note, good job on providing techority for beginners.
+1, its cool idea
it will be like a blog forum for anyone who wants to detail their works in progress, like posting some art or whatever
sounds a bit like the Community Beta Testing group
Well, I'm thinking about something a bit different.
Beta testing concerns just a part of what can appear in "Work in Progress" from my point of view.
