I've been testing out Corona and so far I'm very impressed at how easy it is to get a game up and running.

I'm almost at the point of buying it (I only have 2 days left on my trial!), but there seems to be one feature missing, one, that to me, is essential for creating games. I'm amazed I've not seen it mentioned on the forum, other than last year only to say it can't be done. Either that or I'm just completely missing it in the API docs...

That feature is... to display a cropped or clipped image (i.e.) display only a part of a loaded image, like for an energy or a timer bar.

Is it already possible to do this, or is it likely to be included soon? It's pretty much a sticking point for me buying a subscription (I probably will anyway, as there are potentially ways around it, like using just a solid coloured rectangle, but it'd be nice to be able to use an image for it).
