If the font is not showing in corona simulator you may need to install the font in your mac. once you double click to open the font there will be an install button. if its not coming in iOS device you should try converting the font to OTF format. TTF format doesn't seems to be working in iOS device.

@technowand, not true really.

TTF works with iOS devices, I have in Retroballs used a ttf font and it works exactly as expected.

when i moved the project folder from my snow leopard machine to my new lion machine i had forgot to install the font into font book

@Jayant I tried many times and it never worked on my iPhone 3G but it works well when I use OTF file. No idea why that happens...
