Ok brand new at this all together. Just downloaded this morning new. My biggest experience in this in doing SOME VBA in excel. I am now trying to get started.

1. Figuring out the where to save my folder.
2. Where to pull background stuff from ie. like the pool table where do you get a pool table at? Do you create one is there an existing file yadda yadda.

I am looking more for a possible book reference. Is there a list of books I can purchase or get at the library anyone recommends.

For answers to questions like this read both "Corona in 5 Minutes" and "Quick Start Guide" at the top of the Docs page:

Long story short, save it wherever you want. You then point Corona to your project folder.

Do you mean the .png images? Create images in an image editing tool (eg. Photoshop.)
