system.orientation not entirely useful ?

system.orientation returns one of the "6" orientations... the problem is that all 6 aren't really useful. I want to know if it's landscape or portrait. If I get a faceup/facedown, then I still don't really know how to layout the screen... I can lay the phone on the table faceUp, landscape... or faceup, portait.

So, I'd humbly request this turn into something that returns one of the 4 actual orientations AND a faceUp/faceDown/nil-if-not-set thingy.

... I can likely duplicate this functionality by adding an orientation change event and then tracking it... but I'm writing a utility set that I want to use in many apps... which means tracking orientation changes in many apps just for the tools. That's silly. ;-)

Ooooor... maybe/hopefully I'm missing something far simpler. ?? ;-)
