HELP! No gyro on iPhone and Android!

Hi!
I'm having critical problem: built an example code from Corona SDK with gyroscope events and tested it on my iPhone 3G and android (HTC Desire). But on both of these devices it says that sensor was not found and no event from gyro recieved. Is there any way how I can fix this? Maybe to set any permissions or something...
Help is highly needed.
P.S. Got the latest Corona SDK builds - 591.
P.S.2 Ttied other game with tilt functionality - works OK.

The Gyroscope was introduced into iPhone from the iPhone 4 onwards, so iPhone 3G or the iPhone 3GS will not respond to gyroscope events.

I am not sure about the Androids
