Ansca's security and extensibility policies

from this post regarding this comment:
"loadbuffer/dobuffer which we disable for security reasons"
I wish you guys would rethink this...it is not Ansca's role to enforce Apple's policies or to arbitrate whether our apps get kicked out of the app-store or not. That's between us and Apple and Ansca should get out of the way....some developers may only care about Android or Nook, and you guys are slowing us down while stepping into business that is not yours...

Finally, this "security" policy (if you are serious about it) implies that you never plan to give us the ability to embed our own C libraries and if that's the case, I believe there are many serious developers who would abandon Corona as an non-extensible platform

Am I off-base, and is anyone there looking at this...

For me it's not really all that serious, so yeah dunno what to say. But I thought I'd say that I haven't run into anything that I *absolutely* needed and couldn't do.

But I'm working on games, so it's a little different than apps.
