We are very much in need right now for streaming audio from online sources. We need to stream sources like mp3, pls or m3u (supported by iOs).

Are there any possibilities in Corona or just local files (audio.loadStream([HTTP://EXAMPLE.COM/TEST.PLS]) probaly)?

What about events, if possible, how to handle buffering / start, stop, stream etc..

The audio APIs do not support network streaming. However, you might try the movie player API (in media) or the web view API.
