Audio API disappearing??

Before starting my audio code, I read quite a bit and found topics stating that the media API was phasing into the Audio API. So that is what I used. A few days ago I noticed the drop in API count and see that the Audio appears to be...(changing, going away, ???). Any word on this?

The new audio API is stable and isn't going away or changing.
Not sure what's going on with the docs.
