Android issues and is there a solution?

I have a game ready to go out in iOS, but Android I am having issues. I have done some research and can not seem to find a fix. First is a load or splash screen. I know Android does not support the Default.png. In iOS the game loads fast on a 2nd gen iPod. With a Moto Droid it takes a very long time. The difference between the two is not even close. The next thing I am going to try is load some of the content and display an image and then load the rest. Is there any better way to do this or a setting I am missing?

(update) I tried loading some data later in the game and I can not seem to get that to work either. Surprised there is such a huge difference between a 2nd gen iPod and Moto Droid.

My next issue is keyboard. Works as intended on iOS, but on Android the keyboard does not automatically pop up. The text field does, and if you click in it the keyboard comes up. Is there anyway to make this happen like it does in iOS?

Last issue is a webpopup. Text looks fine in iOS, on Android it is huge. Almost like it is scaling it for some reason.

I am using the latest daily build.
